Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of recruitment and selection on employee performance at PT Tanikaya Multi Sarana in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. The method used is quantitative. The sampling technique used saturated sampling and a sample of 93 respondents was obtained. Data analysis uses validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, correlation coefficients, coefficients of determination and hypothesis testing. The population in this study were employees of PT Tanikaya Multi Sarana in Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta and the total sample size was 93 respondents. Data collection methods are through questionnaires with a Likert scale, observation, and literature study. The results of this research are that recruitment has a significant effect on employee performance with a coefficient of determination value of 40.8% and the hypothesis test obtained t count > t table or (7.927 > 1.986). Selection has a significant effect on employee performance with a coefficient of determination value of 48.9% and hypothesis testing obtained t count > t table or (9.337 > 1.986). Recruitment and selection simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y = 10.525 + 0.231X1+ 0.456X2, the coefficient of determination value is 52.4% while the remaining 47.16% is influenced by other factors. Hypothesis testing obtained a calculated F value > F table or (49.564 > 2.710).
