Pengaruh Return On Equity dan Earning Per Share Terhadap Harga Saham Pada PT Gudang Garam Tbk Periode 2012 - 2021

Abstract

This research aims to find out how much influence Return On Equity and Earning Per Share have on share prices at PT Gudang Garam Tbk. The type of research used is descriptive research that uses a quantitative approach. The data source used in this research is in the form of financial reports which are secondary data from PT Gudang Garam Tbk for the 2012-2021 period. Based on partial research results, it was found that Return On Equity had a significant effect on share prices, with Tcount 2.753 > Ttable 2.364, and a significance value of 0.021 <0.05. Meanwhile, Earning Per Share has no significant effect on share prices, with Tcount -0.997 < Ttable 2.364, and a significance value of 0.352 > 0.05. The results of the F test (simultaneous) Return On Equity and Earning Per Share have a significant effect on stock prices, with Fcount 5.931 > Ftable 4.74 with a significance of 0.027 < 0.05. And the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.585 or 58.5%. Data analysis used the help of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software version 29.
