Fostered children at the Grade 1 Tangerang Special Children's Development Institution (LPKA) have received various vocational skills training, but still face limitations in terms of understanding of adequate business management to support post-coaching economic independence. This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to provide basic business management training which includes business planning, capital management, simple financial recording, and marketing strategies to LPKA Class 1 Tangerang fostered children. The program is carried out through interactive and participatory training methods with an andragogy approach that is tailored to the characteristics and needs of the participants. The results of the pre-test and post-test evaluations showed a significant increase in business management understanding, with an average score increase of 46.2%. Participants are able to prepare a simple business plan, make basic financial records, and understand product marketing strategies. This program is expected to be a model of economic empowerment based on business training that can be implemented sustainably in child development institutions in Indonesia.
