Abstract

Children who are in the legal situation are a vulnerable group that requires comprehensive intervention in character development and life readiness. This community service research aims to strengthen the self-management skills of fostered children at the Class 1 Children's Special Development Institution (LPKA) Tangerang in order to improve discipline and readiness to face the post-coaching future. The program is implemented through participatory and interactive training methods that include four stages: preparation, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. Participants were 50 fostered children who received materials on emotional control, timing, goal setting, and life planning. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of self-management, improvement of disciplined behavior in daily activities, and the formation of a positive orientation towards the future. This program is expected to be a model of self-management-based coaching that can be replicated in similar institutions throughout Indonesia
