Abstract

The development of digital technology has significantly transformed various aspects of life, especially in education, employment, and entrepreneurship. The digital economy era requires young generations, particularly vocational high school students, to possess technical competence, interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial spirit, self-management abilities, and proper career planning. However, based on initial observations at SMK Darur Roja, several problems were identified, such as low self-awareness, lack of work readiness, weak time management, and limited motivation to utilize digital business opportunities. Therefore, this community service program aimed to foster digital entrepreneurship, improve self-management skills, and build students’ awareness of career planning as preparation for digital economic challenges. The implementation methods included educational seminars, interactive training, group discussions, self-development simulations, and assistance in preparing simple career plans. Materials covered entrepreneurship in the digital era, self-development strategies, time management, courage to seize opportunities, internship readiness, workplace ethics, and the use of digital media as business tools. Participants consisted of 66 grade XI students. The results showed an increase in students’ understanding of digital entrepreneurship by 86%, self-management skills by 81%, and career planning motivation by 84%. Students also became more confident in determining their future goals and understanding digital business opportunities. In conclusion, the internalization of entrepreneurial values combined with self-management and career planning training was effective in preparing vocational students to face digital economic challenges. Similar programs should be continuously implemented through collaboration between schools, universities, and industries.
